Installiing a toilet By Michael Leebern I thought I'd reccommend a handy tip that I've learned over the years for installing a toilet. One of the hardest parts of the installation is lowering the toilet over the screws that are sticking up out of the flange. Toilets can be very heavy and trying to thread these screws into the holes on the toilet can be very tricky. A handy tip for this is to cut a straw in half and put one half over each of the two screw's that are sticking up. This helps to keep the screws from moving around so much and makes it easier to slip the toilet down over them. Now once you have the toilet in place all you need to do is put the nuts onto the screws to hold the toilet in place and hook up your supply line.
